Meg Zaremba is a multidisciplinary artist working in illustration, graphic design, mural design, scenic design, and painting. She holds a degree in Fine & Performing Arts at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and a certificate in illustration at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, currently seeking representation.
Meg works at R. Michelson Galleries in Northampton, MA, which specializes in Children’s Book Illustration. In June 2024, a four story mural she designed was completed on the historic building, depicting 70 characters and books from illustrators represented by the gallery. Previously, Meg had been a scenic painter and designer, working and creating in historic theatres in the New England area including The Theater at Monmouth and The Barnstormers Theater. The latter of which produced seven full scale sets painted in eight weeks as the Scenic Charge.
